Scotchmans Hill

David and Vivienne Browne established Scotchmans Hill in 1982, turning a dilapidated dairy farm into the Bellarine Peninsula's first winery. In 2014, the winery was purchased by a Victorian investment group, ensuring it remained locally owned.

Near Geelong, Scotchmans Hill has a maritime climate, influenced by cool Antarctic winds and proximity to Port Phillip Bay. The vineyard grows in the fertile black clay soils of the extinct volcano Mount Bellarine, bringing its unique character to the wines. In the beginning, Scotchmans Hill sourced fruit solely from the Bellarine Peninsula, but their reach has since widened to include key winemaking regions in Australia and New Zealand.

The Cornelius label is a celebration of Scotchmans Hill's most distinguished vineyards. Their title label, it draws from their estate vineyards and features Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, among others.
